  This Week in Kindergarten Colour Days Continues Students have been coming to school dressed in their best colour day outfits and snack time has been a fun time to share conversations about foods of various colours. Colour Days have been a nice way for students to get to know each other through having a common topic for discussion. Looking forward to finishing off our colour day exploration with RAINBOW day!  Physical Education: Soccer Residency                        Kindergarten friends are soccer stars in the making. We had a great first week of lessons with coach Adrien. We learned how to toe tap and  forward toe tap! We used this skills in games of "Red Light, Green Light", "Freeze Tag" and a mini game of soccer.   This Week in Kindergarten Colour Days!  We are well on our way with colour days and are enjoying seeing what colourful clothing friends found to wear, what snacks ideas they had and even tasted a 'yellow' food... eek, it was so sour!  Here are a few photos to highlight our week with colours red, orange, yellow, green and blue!  Story Highlight : Little Yellow Little Blue by Leo Lionni  We all enjoyed the story of two special friends, Little Yellow and Little Blue who loved to play together. There will be weekly blogg posts with input from both Ms.Cavanaugh and students to share highlights from our week with our families. Please check back often!  All About Me: Getting to Know Ourselves and Others Printing My Name  Students have spent time each day working on printing their names. We are working on printing the first letter in uppercase and the following letters in lowercase. We say the teacher is at the front of the line (the uppercase) and the students follow (lowercase). Have your child  show you how they are doing with printing their name this way.
